My name is LJ, and in the short time that I’ve been on this planet I have tried to be the following:
filmmaker, artist, musician, singer, poet, photographer, web developer, actor, director, cinematographer, editor, writer, journalist, songwriter, composer, michael jordan, skater, skier, snowboarder, michael owen, chef, cook, Hong Kong action star, entertainer, comedian, ice hockey player, graphic designer, travel show host…
Some roles, I have utterly failed at, some I’ve succeeded and some I’m still trying my luck at. For the majority of the time however, my dreams were greater than the reality of my abilities. Yet the one thing which all of these roles share is the fact that in some masochistic way or other, I’ve enjoyed trying them out, no matter the result.
During school, I survived by looking forward to the weekly sports afternoon. At University I survived law by diving into all things film. Despite my total expectation of being unemployed forever after my long stint in education , I find myself actually employed in a fulltime position somewhere.
I don’t know about the future but I hope it’s a good ride…
